Are We an Independent Living or Assisted Living Community?

Actually, Champagne Village is NEITHER:

• Assisted living is a good option for individuals who have difficulty with daily activities needed for living independently. These communities offer residents regular, daily support in the form of meals, housekeeping, transportation, on-staff medical assistance, etc. This support is part of the amenities offered in these communities.
• Independent living is ideal for individuals who can still live independently but enjoy having access to assistance when it’s needed. These communities provide residents with regular access to dining, medical care and other services – but they don’t have it onsite. This access is also part of the amenities they offer.
• Champagne Village is an active 55+ community. We’re perfect for individuals who can live independently and have no need for either regular onsite assistance OR provided access to offsite assistance. And while Champagne Village offers help and support through our Care and Concern committee as well as our Friends Helping Friends service, both of these are provided by volunteers as a courtesy: they are not an amenity.
